K. Itty, a calico female, was born in 1958 and given to Bob then. She died in the summer of 1972. She had more character and personality than any dozen other cats. As a kitten, that first muddy wet winter when they were laying track, they would pick her up and put her on their shoulders to keep her out of the mud. As she grew up, she learned how to climb upon one's shoulder by herself, as she did with me several times. She also loved to climb ladders, and could go up and down easily, EVEN the vertical all steel end ladders on RGS Caboose 0404. Bob and I both loved that little cat. I hope she and Bob are now reunited.
