Speaking of Bob's stamp collecting--Recently, I have been watching for interesting RPO stamped envelopes on ebay and pick up what I can as long as it isn't too expensive. Recently, I bought a 1932 letter which was postmarked from the Chili Line or the Santa Fe Branch. I was surprised when I received it because it was addressed to Robert W. Richardson in Akron, Ohio. I think it interesting that he was having mail postmarked and mailed on the narrow gauge as early as 1932, while living in Ohio. Needless to say, I am going to treasure that letter.
