Sorry. it was supposed to be a joke. (We are getting a little annoyed with each other aren't we?) We are all aware that if it wasn't for the big bubble of natural gas under Farmington, our buddy Al P would have us driving a lovely 4 wheel drive trail through the Toltec Gorge now!
My dig was based on the comments from the crews who had to deal with going to Farmington - no tracks for storage, mainline used as a team track, sitting on spot for an hour while a car was unloaded so you could move it off the main, plus for the "mountain boys" a mid-July trip down there was hot and dusty. RR guys never think about the fact that hot and dusty spot time is better than being cut off.
Meet me at the "Goat" and we'll have a toast to Farmington!
