Oh come on Phil,
You know as well as I do that Georgetown is happy with the tourists that the train brings but won't let any stinky old steam locomotive besmirch "their" town.
It's the typical @#$%& - Yuppie value system that is ingrained in Durango and Aspen and anywhere else the scenery is nice and a railroad ran. Pity the souls of the poor miners whirling their graves.
I had hoped for the same result that you did, but Georgetown is content to bite the hands that feed them and them complain about sore teeth.
