Jeff,
Hats off to you and the other guys who made this happen. There is one other name that I believe should be added to the list. It was Tom Shreve of Roaring Camp who told Jerry and I about the 100's existance up at Simplot.
The three of us were discussing the list of remaining SVRy lockies when he said something like "Well you know about the 100 don't you?" Of course our response was "No, what about the 100?" So Tom told us that it was up in the Simplot bone yard.
While we were still at Railfair, I spoke with Ron Harr and he and Jim Lethlean went and checked it out. There was an artilce in the Baker City Hearld about it before we were back from Railfair.
An interesting side note; I was told ( I think by Jim Lethlean) that Mr Simplot had a personal fondness for the 100, and had informed his employees that while the 100 was back in the bone yard, if anyone cut on it while cleaning up, they would be fired.
