Thanks for the story behind #100's restoration. Somehow we seldom put to paper the history of an effort such as this, and put names and contributions as well.
Last weekend #100 was unable to pull the Heisler out of the Backshop. Tom Young was on sight and went to work on it. From my brief discussion with Tom, I believe he worked on the clutch mechanism, lubricating it while doing so. Afterward it seemed to be working ok and was pulling ballast hoppers around the yard.
It is an interesting machine to watch operating. I think I speak for all SVRR members when I say thank you to all involved (and still involved as Tom is) with # 100's restoration. WELL DONE!
