Oh, I know and I would rather it be that way, and I did not mean to degrade this loco or the work done to it with that comment...I want more than anything to see this loco run, and even though not much, I donated money to its cause. It was more a scenario of future operations that are possible with all the talk of restoration projects. I cant wait to see any loco run be it a k-36, 37, 27, c-18 etc... And, no matter what any loco's job is, I would try my best to get there to see (and help) the cause.
I think you guys have done more than your share of preserving this loco and its history, and have picked a fine era to represent her with. The only reason I had her switching the trains is becuse the day before she was hauling the hot shot freight in from Antonito, and needed the light work duties to rest!
