463 has a firebox that has about 12 years service on it (1949 to 53 and 1994 to 2002). The C&TS roster notes make no mention of flue sheet replacement during her first rebuild, so that may be something that need work on this go round. The reports also indicate that 463 was in at least decent mechanical shape when withdrawn from service after the 2002 season.
