So, since CHS is so busy screwing everything up what would you do differently? Lets pretend that you are now the head guy or that you are the whole Board of the CHS, what would you do?
While I do believe the CHS made mistakes in the beginning, I think they and Railstar are doing a great job now. In a matter of six months, they were able to put together an operation that ran on the Loop for the whole 2005 season with no days lost to breakdowns. Now this year, they have managed to return to operation an authentic C&S locomotive. The only one running anywhere.
Now I agree that the whole GTL Inc. vs. The CHS issue was handled poorly and mistakes were made by BOTH parties, but that was two years ago and the GTL Inc. is not coming back. So, the question is "What would you do NOW?"
