Nice photo Rod, but you are forgetting are some basic realities for tourist operation. There are no provisions for the Handicapped, no provisions for loading and unloading.
If you are going for open air cars, then why not remanufacture the C&S's own series of observation cars? They have everything that a good tourist train needs. Each car has an end platform and steps, Rattan walk-over seats, no windows, roofs, roll down curtains for the afternoon rains, even bathrooms. Easy on, easy off and no stock chutes needed.
