Gosh, Tim, do you think the Seabees might have used rail that is a lot heavier, not to mention probably of a different cross section, to rebuild the Loop than what the C&S was using in 1938 when the original track was removed? How authentic is that?
What about the bridge abutments at Devil's Gate, What about some of the other brideges which have been mentioned as non-authentic?
Like I posted above, "This sh*t is getting old." Very old. Steve T. and Railstar appear to be doing their very best to run a pretty darn good railroad for the CHS, no matter what you or I may think about the CHS. I'd like to #9 as authentically turned out as possible, but she'll never, ever be exactly like she was in 1939. Give it a rest. -- Ed
