You should see the foamers that get upset that we took a torch to PM 1225's cab to make room for staybolt replacement without removing the entire cab.
The front wall, and some of the roof is cut.
On top of that we are updating it to copper plumbing with ball valves.
I dont know why people get upset over it. If they would like to see it run regularly, these things NEED to be done.
They get all upset because it is not 'historically accurate', yet they cant seem to get it through their head that it needs to be done if they want to see the locomotive run again.
Most people that complain never even pay admission to support us. They just stand alongside the track and foam.
