Thanks for correction,
I was mislead by that TRAINS magz. article as others. I did not believe it was true - that why the question mark. That clears it up for other too.
Also, to correct my SIGHT at Elk Park, That double header was pulling a trainload of fresh cut ties from Otto Mears (rebuilt) saw mill site that is still at Tefft's spur. By the way, that would make a nice picnic site for a summer get-together. Some protection or preservation should be considered for that former RGS engine boiler.
Who knows if the Forest Service won't try to rip it out of there some winter.
