I think one reason why the CRRM has not been contacted a whole lot about this sort of thing is probably because the museum has been screwed in the past when equipment was loaned, and I think that they feel it has been a lot safer to keep the equipment where it is. Doesn't mean that it can't happen though, and I'd love to see the 346 climbing up the pass that she once bore as a name(Cumbres). Maybe, just maybe, we'd get lucky to see the 318 with her when shes all fixed up.
I'll keep dreaming, but I'm not holding my breath.
