Re: Last (wo)man standing

To all of you who have back-channeled me, thank you. And thanks to those who have posted here. I have been overwhelmed by the public and private support.
For those of you who have inquired about Governor Richardson:
I have never hidden, nor advertised the fact that for the last 3 years, I have served as Vice-President of the New Mexico Democratic Women. I have the luxury of using this position to provide the opportunity me to speak to the Governor, Lt. Governor and leaders of the Democratic Party about many things. I was in Santa Fe one day, for a conference with the Bernalillo County Democratic Women, when the Governor asked me to stay behind to discuss the railroad.
I cannot, at the Governor's request, share his
thoughts on "fixing" the railroad. As I said,
he is VERY aware of the problems, he is working on it and it is a bold plan. I wish him luck.
And thank you, John West, and others for giving me the opportunity to work with you and the railroad. Although probably the most frustrating thing I have ever done, I consider it an honor and a priviledge.
