Don, these lists run in parallel, with the same subject of interest. One focuses on one area, another a different one. They aren't in competition for readers as many read more than one regularly, or have looked at them all and chosen their favorites.
Cross posting on a particular subject doesn't bother me, just the ones posting constantly to toot their own web pages, which I find here on the NGDF more than on other lists.
I post here with an abreviated name, and on the Goat with a 'moniker', which was the style long ago when the Goat started. Push the "email me" button on either list and I get your personal message, so it isn't hiding out, just a list affectation from when things ran a little looser.
