Can you give me some more information about Cogut and Conger's History of Arizona's Clifton-Morenci Mining District - Vol. 1 The Underground Days. Who was the publisher? Is it still available?
By the way, an engine that operated in the Morenci area is still with us. Arizona Copper 2-8-0 #20 was sold in 1931 to US Potash #3 at Carlsbad NM. Donated in 1956 to Southern Calif. Chapter of R&LHS. The engine is displayed at the Chapter's exhibit at the LA County fairgrounds.
The Arizona car numbers are from information that Carl Mulvihill of Skagway had prepared some years ago. At least, the 7 as a parlor-coach matches the builders photo that Frank Ellington was selling in the early 90s.
