While we are on the topic, an interesting photo of another piece of Phelps Dodge rolling stock turned up in a recent book on Clifton-Morenci area history. It was the Morenci Southern's combo coach-parlor car with the wide windows in the parlor observation section in well-used condition, lacking window sashes. The story goes that it was sold to WP&Y in the 1930's and became the "prototype" for their wide-window parlor cars.
