P-D's three footers .

Five 20" engines preserved is an excellent number .One of P-D's three foot 2-8-0s is preserved at the Los Angweles County fairgrounds . It was sold to U,S, Potash after the standard gauging of the Morenci Industrial R.R. in 1937. It was one of three U.S.Potash engines preserved that ran out of Carlsbad ,N.M. The other two are Death Valley R.R. inside frame 2-8-0s .One at the Furnace Creek Inn at Death Valley and the other is on display at Carlsbad .
Of the dozen outside framed engines there at Morenci ,there is no account of what happened to them after 1937.
