The locomotives at Cedar Point have always burned coal. I can personally vouch for that! We were told it was a heck of a lot cheaper to burn coal than oil. It's one of the reasons the ex Disney loco wasn't put right to work, as it burns diesel #2. I can also remember several parks in PA that had coal burning Crowns.
