When I returned the steam gauge for rotary OM for the first rotary run on the C&TS, and Coker was the rotary fireman, we had the D&RGW Durango shop crew test it on the dead weight tester. The last penciled test date was 1937 and the gauge was still accurate some 34 year later. I recall that Sam Bass and maybe John Ross actually delivered the gauge that I had in safe keeping until it was needed again.
