Its always nice to see someone who appreciates what a really awesome railroad the G .T. & C RR is. The equipment looks better and better every year, the crews are professional steam railroaders like no other, the mechanical department is the finest on the west coast,period!
Craftsmanship is not dead, it lives in a metal building on La Palma ave in Buena Park.
As for a 50th year celebration, how about a reunion of past G.T. & C. railroaders, there has got to be a thousand of them out there. The internet could help us find a lot of them.
