There was an article in Locomotive and Railway Preservation (the now defunct, and much missed magazine) several years ago detailing the history of the 464. I've got the issue at home (I'm at work), so the details here are a bit vague, plus it's been a while since I last read the article.
The 464 was acquired, in very poor condition, by Knotts to provide power while their other equipment was overhauled. The K-27 was a bit long for some of their curves and derailed regularly.
As soon as Knotts had their regular power back the 464 was stored, then later sold to the Huckleberry.
