I have one for you thats similar to that. In 1992 I was shooting a Norfolk and Western 611 trip that ran from Portsmouth to Williamson. During the layover they took the train and engine a few miles beyond Williamson to do a dedication for the 100th Anniversary of the Ohio Extension of the Norfolk and Western. There was even a historic marker sign on the highway, so I parked there, and it turned out to be the right spot to shoot the little ceremony. This was one of the very few times 611 was ever used for some historical or PR related event, and sadly the folks on the train were not permitted to detrain for it. Anyway, some guy from New York or New Jersey was shooting either movies or video, and was narrating as he shot. I was set-up on a tripod with the Betacam at the time, and couldn't believe it when he kept babbling on and on, about everything he was shooting. Another guy was shooting video, and he was flabbergasted as well.
There was a guy with a megaphone giving a little speil, so who needed this guy narrating.
I think in my final version of the video I used, we showed a couple of quick shots and moved on to the next action sequences. As it turned out 611 only ran this route once or twice more after this. That guy was annoying though, I must say!
