I think that the Goose Society will rebuild some track eventually. They have been working on that proposal for awhile, and even have some materials pledged for the project. I will, however, remind readers that building any kind of railroad will cost a bare minimum of $1 million a mile, and add any bridges or culverts the cost goes up. From Mancos to Durango it would be impossible to build a railroad, as many houses and other development are on RGS right of way.
