While the Cumbres & Toltec is constantly struggling and going through it's seemingly endless growing pains, other railroads are slowly giving up hope.
The Ohio Central Steam Program used to run steam daily on regular freights and host numerous excursions every year.
Not this year. The money isn't there anymore. Unless they find a way to make some money, the money will never be there.
But then at the same time, other new operations are blossoming.
