I'm presently reading "The Thunder of Their Passing" which has some interesting info on Vera Alcon and her involvement with "Kelly's" and the DRGW. She apparently had a contract with the DRGW to feed the Chama train crews, keeping the place open until maybe 3 or 4 in the morning.
Interesting reading.
