Last I heard the frame was the main problem, it was / is pretty severely rotted out.
However mechanically,as I understand it, it's in reasonably good shape. One thing about these things it that they weren't used all that much so they don't have a heck of a lot of miles on them. Also they aren't convenient sources of parts so they're pretty much intact.
As for getting either OM or OY running, as Les indicates, the C&TS has other priorities and I would think that neither rotary will get much attention until there are at least 4 engines running and the track is in good enough shape to make even the most picky FRA inspector grin.
