Who knows Greg, you may see 494 and/or 495 run someday.
In the here and now it is hard to imagine them ever being more than the forlorn hulks that they are now, but I remember riding the Silverton Branch in 1973 and seeing a boarded up 481 sitting in the middle of the loop in Durango.
473 and 476 were handling the days runs, an 478 wasn't even under steam.
And that very same day, the only thing running on the C&TS was the 19, as that was the season of the ill-concieved idea to run steam only in the fall.
How things have changed!
