Since Fred answered the 492 question...
494 & 495 were set aside by the D&RGW during late 50's and were a source of parts for the remaining ten years of operation. While missing parts if there was enough money anything can be restored.. uh rebuilt. I don't think there are any long range plans for the 494 & 495. But after the current six engines are running and then the 483 and 492 are running, what else will we have to work on but the 494 and 495.
