Mr. Cooke- In my years of service with the C&TS we had several derailments. In all cases I was involved in we used blocks of wood or re-railing frogs only. I never saw a situation where a tie plate was used to assist in the rerailing process. You are substituting your own conjecture for facts. You may have profound knowledge of railroad rules, but you have an extreme righteousness that comes off sounding as arrogance. This is precisely the reason I decided not to support you in your research endeavors as you jump quickly to conclusions and use very few of your potential critical thinking skills. This will be my one and only response to you George, you may spread your verbal diarrhea all over this forum, but I will not again grant your posts a quick look, much less the 5 minutes of my time it takes to respond to your kind.
