We will know soon what the CHS is potentially up to as notification of grant decisions for these Oct. '04 requests are due in a little over a week from now on January 20th.
Looks to me like the CHS is potentially trying to subvert the state mandated regulations (8 CCR 1504-8) which they are bound to administer for the State Historical Fund. Conflict of interest will be the least of the CHS problems if they have negotiated a deal with Breckenridge for the #111.
Maybe someone on this list can chime in here as to how Breckenridge's #111 will be utilized by the town if it gets funding for restoration next week. I wasn't aware they had track in place to run an engine or I maybe I have missed something here.
