Ed McLaughlin, C&TS general manager, is also ex-NWP, and he brought Mad Dog to the C&TS. Bill is doing an extraordinarily good job for us as Manager of the EDA track rehabilitation project. Mad Dog says the view from Toltec siding is better than anything in Alaska, and with luck he will stay around for awhile. We have been thinking of turning his gang into a profit center by marketing it as a weight reduction and body building program. But we might have a refund problem, since one new hand passed out on the first day before the sun was up. And so far they have only been practicing with pine ties. Now the oak ties start to go in, and that will introduce a whole new level of challenge. Mad Dog is good.
