Thanks for the notes Jim. One more thing to add: In the Railstar/CHS contract, CHS is leasing "something" from Railstar for $175,000. If you go to the addendum in the contract to see what is being leased it says "to be added in January 2005". I asked Joseph Bell what the lease was for and he stated that he didn't know. Another audience member asked, "how can the state know the lease is worth $175,000 if you don't even know what it is?" To which Mr. Bell replied that it was just a number that they arrived at so as to make sure it made it in the budget for the project and that the amount ($175,000) could change. Of course, every time I submit a request for the budget on the project, I've been told that one doesn't exist. It seems odd to me that the state would lease anything from Railstar for Railstar to use.
Essentially the meeting was the same old void of information (but it was nice to be able to ask questions without Lee Behrens verbally attacking me) and apparently January 2005 will be the golden hour for them and we will all see how wrong all of us who have questioned them were and how our concerns were for naught. I can dream, can't I?
One more thing, none of the marketing material mentions steam.
