John,
Thanks for your response. Yeah, you confirmed what
I had kinda figured. The last photo (pre war) I could find of 278 was July of 1940 in the old paint scheme. I guess we can model whatever we want wartime era and who would know the difference! Obviously the three remaining 28's were too tied up on the San Juan to ever make an
appearance on the 3rd subdivision again. Thanks again for your reply.
