Re: EBT Hoppers

I am grateful that someone went to the effort to bring the EBT hoppers to the C&TS. After all these years, I still have not made it to Pennsylvania to the see the East Broad Top. Since most of my interest is focused on Antonito-Chama, I am hoping to see the hoppers in operation on the C&TS. I was pleased to get a chance to get up close and personal with them last year. I spent some time with Richard last summer during work session A during which we discussed the cars and we looked them over up close with Richard explaining about this and that in regards to the proposed repairs. Just like everything else, best laid plans often end up much different then originally proposed. What the heck, EBT hoppers have been scattering themselves (albeit with some help) around the various narrow gauge sites like maple seeds in the springtime, so why NOT have them on the C&TS?
Now if we could just get the EBT to catch on like the C&TS.
