Don't give up.

Never say never. The great thing about helicopters is that if they can't go to where the fuel is, then you can always bring the fuel to them.
There would be no problem bringing in a few 45gal. Drums of jet fuel to the Chama area on the back of a pick-up truck. Each drum would give a normal Bell Jetranger about 1.5 hours of flying time and a Jetranger could stay up for about 2.5 hours before it would need to refuel.
All it would take is a call to some of the charter companies around the area and tell them what you need.
