Why would you want an open cab in Seattle??????
Paul,
Sumpter ain't Seattle! Not even close.
Many miles of difference between Seattle and Sumpter. Kind of like comparing Seattle to Spokane, if you are familiar with that area. We are talking high desert and temps over 80 (sometimes well over 100) from June to Sept. Where Seattle gets something close to 300 days a year of overcast or precip, the high desert gets 300 days of clear sky. About as pointless as driving a convertible in Seattle, an open cab might not be the most practical choice for locomotives there either! However, rest assured, Seattle and the eastern side of the Cascades experience totally different climes, so the point is moot.
