Ted,
The SVRy #100 resto is still very much in progress. The axels and wheels have been regauged and are back under it. The unit is mostly painted, a bit of touch-up still to do. I spent the last work session wrestling the main & secondary drive chains back on - it's got some of the biggest link-belt chains I've ever seen.
Still remaining........ fabricate coupler pockets, pack journals, tram axels, mount brake rigging, broken shift fork, fine tune engine, probably a few dozen other things I've forgotten. We had planned to move it from Boise to McEwen this year so the ol' gal could get some tender lovin' from the SVRy master mechanic, but are currently waiting (at his request) for additional track to be laid into the backshop.
I've been making fairly regular reports in the *Stump Dodger*, (SVRy newsletter) but haven't been sending anything to the web site. The old page dedicated to the #100 project?........The webmaster went MIA some time ago, haven't seen him in the longest while. Don't even know if the page is still up.
I'll try to post some current pics here, sometime this week.
J
