Brett,
There is some interest in the Wycoff unit. Tom Young, who has been a stalwart in the #100 project has expressed an interest in taking it on when #100 is done. I'd like to work on it too, but whatever you do, don't make me project leader again. I seem to be developing a bit of a reputation at SV (undeserved) as a "critter man", but have had enough headaches with #100 to last a lifetime. Seriously, Tom and I have talked about trying to do something with the Wycoff unit AFTER #100 is done. Critters never seem to get their due, from a historical sense, they labor in relative obscurity in switching or industrial service. But they're a heckuva lot cheaper to restore and operate than steam, and many of them are older and in their way, fully as historic & interesting as the steam locomotives we all labor over.
It might get restored someday in the not-too-distant future but that low-rise cab has got to go.
