Not sure I get your drift here. Are you agreeing or disagreeing. Right now the Railroad has a no cab ride policy, so I doubt they will do the engineer thing unless they change the policy for next season. I doubt waving $1,000 in front of a board member will change anything. At this point this is all speculation, and those wanting to do this need to hear from the folks in charge who make policy. If enough are interested(and I bet there are), they might put it on the agenda for 2001 perhaps when things settle down, and there is ample motive power and planning.
