I'll have you also know, that all the things that I listed (and there were more that I didn't) I did BEFORE I moved from Colorado 26 years ago.
Dave, I live in a state where we pay no income tax. (got it figured out yet?, You're down to 6)
We have a local sales tax of 5%
Our public works are paid for before they begin because State deficits are against the State Constitution.
Our property taxes are less.
Our business taxes are among the lowest in the nation.
We are slightly smaller than the State of Colorado.
We have 1/10th the population of Colorado in the entire state.
We have the first National Park in the US.
I live 1 1/2 hrs. from Denver by car.
We are now having a huge influx of refugee Coloradans trying to find a State like Colorado used to be. It's so sad.
