Here is an image from rrpicturearchives.net showing the coil spring suspension that is currently under caboose 1009 at the Colorado Railroad Museum.
All of the hardware under this car (axles, wheels, pedestals, journal boxes, brake gear, etc.) was sourced and installed by museum volunteers during the 1960's (??). The 1009 had been left in Leadville after the narrow gauge C&S was pulled up, and ended up as a shed, later making its way to Buena Vista as Rick Steele mentioned.
