I've heard from several sources the same info. This makes for intresting loco trivia. I would like to see an evaluation on it. GTL dosn't fit the critieria to have to submit for a form 4 at this time , not to say it shouldn't be evaluated. They will more than likly run it at 190 lbs.
WHEN it's subjected to a form 4, it won't be a 190 lbs boiler any more, go figure on the C&S.
Mabe it needs 190 lbs to be worth while.
It's a soaker witch hurts it's perfomance alot with respect to the preasant locos
They will have problems with it as they will have to really force the firing of it.If it runs the hill alone it will always be at tonage. That poor old girl is going to go from retirment to the olympics. I hope she and her pit crew are up for it.
