I noted in an interesting DRGW Mailgram that John West posted in a different thread here that there was mention of coal and coke going to Shell Oil in Farmington. The Mailgram is linked below:



Regular NGDF readers are likely aware that coal moved east on the narrow gauge, but this is the first I have seen that coal & coke moved west (with the possible exception of Monero coal going west to the DRGW tipple in Durango). Yes, the coal is a specialized bagged filter material, but the coke apparently was in gondolas.
