Yes the decision was made early on to keep trains on the American side of the railroad, where the overwhelming majority of our passengers originate. Awhile back I saw one of the Canadian customs officers in Skagway that I recognized. He was off duty with family that was visiting. I asked him how things were going at Fraser and he said they were very slow and wished that the trains were running up into Canada again. He told me that the railroad could operate trains and process passengers like we did pre-pandemic, but that it could also change at any moment depending on what the Canadian parliament decided. That's the biggest reason we haven't taken trains into Canada this year, it's not predictable
Hopefully next year. The Canadian side of the railroad is the most scenic part!
