Not quite, the water car W-499 is ex Uintah 2-8-2 30. I figure it got numbered W-499 since all the other ex-engine tenders numbered were W-480-498. Those were all smaller tenders though. I guess W-493 used to be on the 206 and I think John Templeton found that W-498 had been on the 218 I think.
Interestingly, the records show that W-499 became OM's tender. I haven't looked real closely to see what the differences are, but they sure modified the W-499 a lot.
