Into the 1920's on the Royal Gorge & Black Canyon sections. Don't know about other parts of the system.
Narrow gauge cars:
#500 "Royal Gorge" built [as #100] by D&RG 1882, ret 10/25, dism 12/25
#501 "Black Canyon" built [as #101] by D&RG 1883, ret 10/25, dism 12/25
#502 "Argus" built by D&RG 1888[1], ret 10/25, dism 12/25
I suppose they were taken off to avoid switching moves.
Gilbert Lathrop tells a great story about how, as a kid, he used to scam free goggles from the car butch on these. [Rio Grande Glory Days, pgs 64-65]

[1] Some sources say 1883, suggest on std gauge trucks in 1904.
