In a probably foredoomed attempt to earn my Fraternal Union of Curmudgeonly Geezers (old FUCGers) Merit Badge in Nit-Picking, I am compelled to ask -
Would it not be better to run the second section of the Toltec Rattler Redux on Saturday, Oct. 29 rather than Tuesday, Oct. 25?
Lodging on the evening before the trip will be hard to find, as those riding on the 24th are probably not leaving 'til the 25th at the earliest.
If the second section runs on Saturday then a lot of folks can fly into ABQ or DEN on Friday and drive to Antonito or Chama by early evening,
and then drive back to DEN or ABQ and fly home on Sunday, 10/30 – thus missing only one day of work.
How many tickets for 10/25 have already been sold?? Could holders of those tickets accommodate a change to 10/29??
