Although I certainly wish that I had been. My two shots at Curmudgeon's Cut* that you are probably thinking of were taken exactly three months later, when the very last loads of oilfield supplies (and two flats of wallboard) were hauled west by #483 and #484. See the last two photos on [

* Although I certainly appreciate your flattering name, IMHO "Curmudgeon's Cut" is much more appropriate since four of us notorious geezers all took photos and/or movies there in 1968 — you, Ernie & Olaf on May 28, and Olaf & I on August 28.
